Objectivism holds that each individual person is the sole owner of his life and all that it entails. This includes the right to run your life, manage your daily activities, make your own decisions, and run your business or company in any manner that you see fit, provided you do not initiate physical force or use fraud against anyone else.
Objectivism holds, therefore, that Bill Gates has the absolute moralright to run his company how he chooses, free from second handers who feel they have a right to meddle in his affairs -- his life.
Recently a group on campus hung posters asking "Should Microsoft Be Broken up?" The answer is no,unless Bill Gates himself wishes to do so. To presuppose that you have the right to disassemble and mangle his company is to suppose that you are entitled to run someone else's company, someone else's life. This should NOT occur in any free society. For more information: The Microsoft Defense Site.
